I think I might actually complete a blog post!

Anyone a fan of Zac Brown Band (ZBB)?  Their new album is awesome!  It's called Jekyll + Hyde.

Summer!  I love summer so much.  I'm getting caught up on everything that doesn't get done around the house during the school year! 

Summer bring lots of camping and having fun with my family.  I am so excited to explore some new places in Michigan and revisit a few of my favorites. 

Of course I'm thinking (well trying not to) about fall.  What are my new professional goals?  What do I want to put my time and energy into?

I would love to go shopping but we are saving for a few upcoming adventures.

But I'm in need of a few essential camping items.  After four years of wear and tear, our camping chairs and tent are breaking down.  I shouldn't be sad because they lasted a long time but I'm already overwhelmed by the selection of tents on the market.  Here's to hoping we find a new, awesome one.

I am an all star at planning and organizing.  Three times a year we host food competitions at our house.  They are amazing and delicious!  I'm so excited for our summer salad and sangria upcoming event.

Winter Hike

I've wanted to go on a winter hike for a while now. I like to go a few times during winter. It is so peaceful and beautiful.  But the weather hasn't cooperated until today.

Well today was the day. The temperature was above 40 degrees!  So I hiked with my hubby for about 45 minutes at a local nature preserve.

It was so nice and sunny. The fresh air felt great. I'm so happy spring is right around the corner.

I love listening to Pandora and classical goes pop is an amazing station.  So I listen to classical covers of pop songs all day long!

My hubby had the day off so he took me to lunch!  That is a rare treat during the school year.

This blog is new so I am thinking about future posts!  It's so exciting!

My sweet tooth is on over drive.  All I want is dessert.

I need to take a break and eat dinner.  Hopefully later I will fit in a work out.  We will see.

I love tent camping!  I can't wait to be in warmer weather in my tent!
